- Services Provided
1.1 Platypus Road agrees to provide booking services for the Client, which may include, but are not limited to, arranging accommodations, transportation, tours, and other travel-related services.
1.2 The Client acknowledges that Platypus Road acts as an intermediary between the Client and various service providers and does not own or operate the services provided.
- Booking Process
2.1 The Client shall provide accurate and complete information to Platypus Road for the purpose of making reservations.
2.2 Platypus Road shall make reasonable efforts to secure reservations and bookings on behalf of the Client.
2.3 The Client understands that availability, prices, and terms of service are subject to change by service providers and that Platypus Road cannot guarantee the availability or pricing of any services.
- Payment and Fees
3.1 The Client agrees, Platypus Road will be paid for services rendered as agreed upon between the parties. Payment terms and fees shall be outlined in a separate agreement or invoice that is provided to the host client.
3.2 Platypus Road will charge a service fee for its booking services, and such fees will be communicated to the host client in advance. Platypus Road reserve the right to charge the industry standard rate of between 10% and 16%.
3.3 The artist payment will be the agreed fee for service at the time of booking. Service fees will not be deducted from the Artists agreed fee for service.
3.4 The artist reserves the right to refuse a booking offer.
- Cancellations and Changes
4.1 Platypus Road shall communicate cancellation and change policies of host clients to the artist. The Artist is responsible for adhering to these policies.
4.2 Platypus Road may charge the host client a fee for processing cancellations or changes, in addition to any fees imposed by service providers. Artists are not entitled to cancellation fees.
- Liability and Disclaimers
5.1 Platypus Road shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, or delay arising from the acts or omissions of artists, service providers or other third parties.
5.2 The Artist acknowledges that travel involves certain risks and that Platypus Road is not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or health-related issues that may occur during travel.
5.3 It is the responsibility of the Artist to provide adequate public liability, vehicle Insurance and equipment insurance to cover incidents that may impact their craft.
- Confidentiality
6.1 Both parties agree to keep any confidential information received from the other party during the course of this Agreement confidential and not to disclose it to third parties without prior written consent.
- Termination
7.1 Either party may terminate this Agreement with written notice to the other party. Termination shall not relieve any payment obligations for services rendered before the termination date.
- Governing Law
8.1 This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Queensland.
- Entire Agreement
9.1 This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes all prior agreements and understandings, whether written or oral.
By accepting the services of Platypus Road, the artist acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Booking Agent Terms and Conditions.
