If you agree to perform the gig for $400, you will receive $400. The agent will bill the venue the Fee + a small management fee and sometimes a insurance fee to cover cancelations.
Most times you will receive your money within 14days from the performance. Platypus Road await the clearence of paid funds before distributions are made.
